Well our grand Hawaii vacation is winding down. We’re trying not to – though. Today proved the best day yet. First off we totally slept in until 9:00. Man it felt good – it was definitely a change from the typical 6:30 – 7:00 we have been holding the entire week (we are trying to keep our bodies in Mountain Time in order to make the transition back to real life a little bit easier). We then poked our way up to the North Shore beaches where we visited Turtle Beach where we saw the infamous Wolly Bolly (apparently the largest male turtle in the area). We then proceeded to hit beach after beach boogie boarding and getting totally washing-machined as a swell was coming in. And of course, who could visit Hawaii without visiting the nasty old shrimp trucks. Not us. Giovanni’s is apparently the place to go. So we did – with a side of coconut, mango, and pineapple from a local fruit stand. It was a great day that winded down with a sunset on Sunset Beach which was decently awesome, albeit a little cloudy.
